BREAKING: Logan Paul handed first WWE loss by Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel
WWE Crown Jewel emanated from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia today, the company’s penultimate pay-per-view for 2022.
The show was headlined by Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul in what was only the YouTuber’s third match.
Other than that, fans were treated to a big match for Brock Lesnar, a promo from Bray Wyatt and several title matches.
What happened at WWE Crown Jewel?
The show opened with a big match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley following their first encounter in January.
Lashley won that first match, but it was Lesnar who picked up the win in the second, leaving the door open for a third match down the line between the former WWE Champions.
Lashley attacked Lesnar after the bell, making it abundantly clear that another match between the two top stars is on the horizon.

The next match on the show saw Alexa Bliss and Asuka defend the Women’s Tag Team titles that they won just this week on Raw against former champions, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.
The pair lost in their first title defence with Damage CTRL regaining their tag team titles at the show, thanks to help from Nikki Cross. This was first time a women’s title has changed hands in Saudi Arabia.
The next saw Karrion Kross lose to Drew McIntyre in a Steel Cage match, the reverse of what happened in their Strap Match last month at Extreme Rules.
Judgement Day then defeated The OC, with AJ Styles’ faction failing to deal with the numbers advantage that Rhea Ripley brings.

Omos was then defeated by Braun Strowman, but like Bobby Lashley earlier in the night, looked incredibly dominant in defeat.
The Usos continued their incredible Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship run by beating The Brawling Brutes in a brilliant tag team encounter.
The penultimate match of the night saw Bianca Belair retain her Raw Women’s Championship over Bayley in a Last Woman Standing match, which many fans would have been expecting her to lose.
Bray Wyatt then cut a promo, addressing the fans in Saudi Arabia by telling them that he wants to rewrite the end of his story in a typically cryptic fashion.
Roman Reigns, then as many expected him to, beat YouTube megastar Logan Paul in the main event, handing the 27-year-old his first loss in WWE.
