Eden Hazard further endeared himself to Real Madrid fans with a heartfelt speech during the club’s trophy parade on Sunday.
Hazard has endured three difficult seasons with the Spanish giants since completing a big-money move from Chelsea in the summer of 2019.
The Belgium international, who joined Los Blancos for a fee that has the potential to exceed £150 million, has struggled with injuries over the past three years and Madrid fans are still yet to see the best of him.
One of the most exciting players in Premier League history, Hazard has been unable to replicate his Chelsea form in a Real Madrid shirt so far.
In 66 appearances for the La Liga outfit, the 31-year-old has only managed to score six goals.
Despite this, Madrid fans are still backing Hazard, who is clearly a popular member of the dressing room.
And during the club’s trophy parade after winning the Champions League with victory over Liverpool at the weekend, Hazard told the fans that next season will be his.
Eden Hazard’s speech to Real Madrid fans
“These have been three difficult years but next year I will give everything for you guys,” Hazard said, per the Evening Standard.
“I’m sure that next year will be mine, I’ve no doubts.”

Hazard may have been an underwhelming signing so far, but he’s still loved.
Let’s check out some of the best reaction to the video:
Will we see Eden Hazard at his best next season?
It would be fantastic to see Hazard back to his world-class best next season.
A wonderfully talented footballer, it’s been sad to see his Bernabeu dream turn into something of a nightmare over the past three years.
But with so much support from fans and teammates, anything is possible.

Another clip of Hazard from after the Champions League final also went viral over the weekend.
The attacking winger cheekily tried to pour champagne for Toni Kroos’ son inside the dressing room of the Parc des Princes, but his teammate was understandably having none of it!
