
F1 Drivers’ Championship 2022: Latest standings and results ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix

ax Verstappen enters this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix with a lead in the Formula One world championship for the first time in the 2022 season.
Charles Leclerc’s retirement from first place in Barcelona last time out handed the Dutchman the chance to make up for two DNFs earlier in his campaign, and he took it with aplomb by leading home a Red Bull one-two.
However things may be different in the principality as the Ferrari star looks to end a curse around his home circuit – which he has never finished around in three F1 and two F2 races.
Sergio Perez and George Russell complete the top four ahead of the grand prix, followed by Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton.
