Greg Hardy Denies Claims of Working At Walmart Following Viral Video
Things have not gone great for the combat sports career of Greg Hardy. Now it seems he is finding ways to supplement his income elsewhere.
After a career in the NFL ended due to allegations of domestic violence, Hardy made the decision to move to MMA, where he quickly joined the ranks of the UFC, much to the disdain of fans and other fighters. His run with the promotion was short lived though, when he would transition to boxing, both gloved and bare knuckles, after having a bizarre run of 4-5 (1NC) in the UFC.

The last time Greg Hardy fought, he suffered a knockout to Josh Watson in his promotional debut at BKFC Knucklmania 3, in February. This was obviously not the outcome he wanted, but he assured his fans that he was still planning on fighting again.
However, a recent Instagram Live session seemed to leave people questioning his future as a combat sports athlete. He explained in the video, that through an apparent misunderstanding after he signed up with a marketing agency, he was tasked with the job of being a Spectrum sales rep in Walmart.

This live stream then had a clip removed, which made the rounds on social media, going viral under the guise of saying Greg Hardy is now a Walmart employee. However, he was quick to shoot down these rumors with a follow-up post to his Instagram, where he promises that fight news is coming soon.
“Yo, don’t believe this shit, man,” Hardy said. “Gotta clear things up because it’s 2023 and y’all be wildin if people don’t defend themselves. Obviously I don’t work at Walmart. I’m trying to learn some new skills, and if y’all been paying attention, you know that’s what I do. I infiltrate, start the bottom, learn the skills, then attack. That’s how we made over a million in the UFC, bro. We gonna keep going.”
Regardless of your opinion of Greg Hardy, if he were working at Walmart, that is nothing to shame him for. He would not be the first pro athlete to work a regular job.
