Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz Fight Week Press Conference Highlights: Teams Brawl After Heated On-Stage Faceoff
Jake Paul and Nate Diaz ramped up fight-week tensions at the pre-fight press conference in Dallas.
Paul and Diaz, two of the biggest names in combat sports, will square off in a 10-round boxing match on Saturday night. Diaz will make his professional boxing debut, while Paul is looking to get back in the win column after a loss to Tommy Fury.
Paul vs. Diaz is a fight that’s been talked about for more than two years. Since Paul defeated Ben Askren in 2021, he’s had Diaz in his sights and waited for Diaz’s split from the UFC to make the fight happen.
Diaz will look to be the first MMA fighter to defeat Paul inside the ring. Paul has had his way with MMA fighters during his boxing career; defeating Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva.
Tensions are high ahead of Paul vs. Diaz. Their teams got involved in a backstage brawl last year and helped fuel the fire of their upcoming fight.
