Jon Jones' Fighting Future Seemingly Leaked By Member Of His Camp

UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will face Stipe Miocic at UFC 295, although his plans after that have seemingly been leaked.

Jones will face the former heavyweight champion Miocic in the UFC 295 main event on November 11th at Madison Square Garden. He returns to defend the heavyweight title after winning it over Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 earlier this year.

Jones is regarded by many around the fight industry as the greatest MMA fighter of all time. His various accomplishments inside the Octagon are unquestionable, as are his tendencies to get in his way outside of the cage.

Jones, on paper, doesn’t have a lot left to accomplish in the UFC ahead of his UFC 295 return. Speculation has run rampant regarding when he’ll decide to retire, although we might have an answer just weeks from his next fight.

“Another few days of work with the man [Jon Jones],” Ryan posted. “I’m looking forward to watching him put on a show for the fans and getting ready to soon after leave the sport at the top, on his terms, and unbeaten. What an honor to be a part of this camp.”

Jones hasn’t formally announced his intentions to retire after UFC 295, although Ryan’s slip-up on social media might’ve confirmed it.

Miocic’s long-term future in the cage is also uncertain ahead of the UFC 295 main event. He hasn’t fought since a knockout loss to Francis Ngannou at UFC 260 and is now in his 40s.

Fight fans might not get to see too much more of Jones and Miocic inside the Octagon, and Jones’ fighting days could be numbered ahead of his clash with Miocic.
