Former Boxing Champion Told Francis Ngannou’s Team Ahead Of Fight He Dreamt Of Tyson Fury Knockdown By Left Hook

Francis Ngannou exceeding everyone’s expectations on Saturday night is sure to be talked about for a long time after his great performance against Tyson Fury.

In an interview with Submission Radio, his coach Eric Nicksick spoke about how many people doubted him and the few that actually put their cards on the table in supporting him.

Telling a story from before the fight, the Xtreme Couture captain said that one former world champion even predicted that a left hook would be the shot to drop “The Gypsy King”.

Someone ought to start taking bets on behalf of Tim Bradley because the former champ was proven correct in the third round with a moment that will go into the pantheon of iconic moments in combat sports.

“The one guy that was, I wouldn’t say thought we had a chance or you know thought we would win but definitely gave us a chance, that was Tim Bradley. In the pre-fight meeting that we had, he said something that was pretty freaking cool. He’s like, ‘Man I don’t know if I should tell you this but I’ve been debating on letting you know…but I had a dream that you dropped Tyson Fury with a left hook!’.

And he said that in our pre-fight meeting and he goes, ‘Not only do I think you have a chance, you can be in this fight, I give you a serious chance to win this fight!'”

Israel Adesanya Trolls Dricus Du Plessis After Video Emerges Of Over-The-Top Reaction To South Africa Winning Rugby World Cup

Despite the fact that we have no idea when they will eventually get to meet inside the Octagon, there appears to be no love lost between Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis.

Following Du Plessis’ win over Robert Whittaker at UFC 290, Adesanya joined the South African in the cage for a heated stare-down.

Unfortunately, the number one contender wasn’t able to make the turnaround to fight the champ in Sydney and following UFC 294, he likely won’t be next for a title shot.

Still, that won’t stop Adesanya from poking fun at his rival wherever he can.

This past weekend, South Africa beat New Zealand to win the Rugby World Cup for a record fourth time.

In a video posted on his social media, Adesanya joked about Du Plessis’ reactions through the match, as he passionately cheered on The Springboks.

Update Provided On Hand Injury Suffered By Khamzat Chimaev At UFC 294

At UFC 294, Khamzat Chimaev earned his place as the number one contender in the middleweight division with a closely contested win in the co-main event.

Welcoming the former middleweight champion Kamaru Usman up to 185-pounds, both men put in impressive performances on less than two weeks’ notice.

After dominating the opening round, Chimaev veered away from his heavy grappling-focused approach, later revealing that it was due to a hand injury.

Fortunately, it doesn’t appear that the damage done will put a question mark over his challenge to the champion, Sean Strickland.

Chimaev’s manager, Majdi Shammas, told ESPN that Chimaev only tore a ligament in his hand which will see him return much faster than a fracture would have allowed.

@SStricklandMMA you are next don’t worry you know haw fast I can finish you 🤝🤣🦾
