A heavyweight showdown takes center stage this weekend at UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs. Lewis.

#10 ranked Heavyweight Derrick Lewis looks to fend off surging contender Jailton Almeida (#9) in the main event this Saturday, November 4 from São Paulo, Brazil. The event plays host to several other intriguing bouts that include the likes of Gabriel Bonfim, Caio Borralho, Armen Petrosyan, and Marc Diakese.

Following a string of three consecutive losses, Derrick Lewis got back on track in his most recent bout as he quickly dispatched of Marcos Rogerio de Lima in just 33-seconds at UFC 291 this past July.

On the opposite side of the octagon, Jailton Almeida is looking to secure the biggest victory of his blossoming career, this weekend. Almeida hasn’t faced defeat since 2018, where he was competing under the Shooto Brazil banner. 

Since the aforementioned shortcoming, ‘Malhadinho’ has rattled off 14-straight victories, knocking off the likes of Parker Porter, Anton Turkalj, Shamil Abdurakhimov, and most recently Jairzinho Rozenstruik this past May.
