UFC Fight Night: Marvin Vettori vs. Jared Cannonier takes place tomorrow night, and MMA News is here to bring you the official weigh-in results!
After a return to Canada last weekend for UFC 289, topped by Amanda Nunes’ successful title defense against Irene Aldana and subsequent retirement, mixed martial arts’ leading promotion is back on home turf this weekend for an event at the UFC Apex.
In the main event, top five middleweight contenders Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier will look to work their way back to a shot at redemption against reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, having both fallen short against “The Last Stylebender” in recent years.
There’ll also be a notable name making the walk for the co-main event, with promising lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan appearing in the Octagon for the first time this year. Despite his #8 ranking and victory over Damir Ismagulov last December, the Russian-Armenian will face a man outside the top 15 in Joaquim Silva.
Elsewhere, the likes of former Cage Warriors champions Christian Leroy Duncan and Modestas Bukauskas, “King of Kung Fu” Muslim Salikhov, and elite wrestler Pat Sabatini will all be in action.
