UFC Rankings Report: Rose Namajunas Tumbles Down The P4P List
As always, the latest action on offer inside the Octagon has seen some climb the ladder towards contention and others fall away.
And in the aftermath of UFC Fight Night: Ciryl Gane vs. Serghei Spivac, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.
Men’s Pound-For-Pound: No changes.
Women’s Pound-for-Pound: The most movement this week has come on the female P4P list, where former two-time women’s strawweight champion has experienced a steep fall. “Thug Rose” was unsuccessful in her flyweight debut this past weekend in Paris.
As a result, the ex-titleholder has slipped four places to #8. The victorious Manon Fiorot, meanwhile, is four spots better off at #6. Those moves have led to some other shifts, including a two-position drop for Tatiana Suarez (#10) that now leaves her below title rival Yan Xiaonan (#9).
Higher up the ladder, Erin Blanchfield (#5) and Julianna Peña (#4) has each climbed a place, while Zhang Weili’s stint sharing top spot with Alexa Grasso lasted just a week. The Chinese star has been pushed back to #2.
Unanimous for @ManonFiorot_MMA! 👏

The Englishman has joined the list at #15 just over a month on from a standout victory over Joshua Culibao in London.

Heavyweight: Ciryl Gane returned to winning ways in style on Saturday, dominating Serghei Spivac en route to a second-round TKO in the French capital. As a result, “Bon Gamin” has been rewarded with a return to #1, which he shares alongside UFC 295 backup fighter Sergei Pavlovich.
Further down the pecking order, Spivac’s defeat has seen him drop one spot to #8, leaving Alexander Volkov (#7) a position better off ahead of his return against Tai Tuivasa this weekend in Sydney.
