UFC returns today to the O2 Arena in London, England, for the second time this year, with an intriguing heavyweight matchup. In the main event, Tom Aspinall will take on Marcin Tybura. After nearly a year of rehabbing an injury, Aspinall hopes to put on a show for England crowd.
Aspinall looks to get back in the win column after suffering his first defeat close to a year ago in the O2 Arena. He faced Curtis Blaydes on July 23, 2022, which was supposed to be his biggest test in the heavyweight division. If he had won, it’s possible he could have been a contender for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. However, he injured his knee within 15 seconds of the fight resulting in a torn MCL and a damaged ACL.

Despite taking nearly a year off to heal, Aspinall is still ranked fifth in the division. He has a chance to get back into the conversation of fighting for the title if he can get a win tonight. DraftKings has him as the -450 favorite, but Tybura could present a tough challenge for his return.
Tybura is looking to achieve his most significant win in UFC over Aspinall. Ranked 10 in the division, he has been building momentum for today’s matchup. “Tybur” is on a two-fight win streak, with his last win being against Blagoy Ivanov at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivac on Feb. 4. A win over Aspinall will put him in the top five and put him in the hunt for a title opportunity.
