'What Happened To No Nonsense' — Terrance McKinney Fires Shots At Ref After UFC Vegas 77 Loss To Nazim Sadykhov
Things did not go according to plan for Terrance McKinney at UFC Fight Night: Holly Holm vs Mayra Bueno Silva. Now he is aiming some post-fight frustration at the referee.
Heading into UFC Vegas 77, McKinney had lost two of his last three bouts, dropping fights to Drew Dober and Ismael Bonfim, each by knockout. So he was desperate to get back on track against Nazim Sadykhov, who was unbeaten in his first four fights with the promotion.

In the end, things did not go well for Terrance McKinney, who would get caught in the second round with a rear naked choke. Sadykhov managed to trap one of his arms, making defending the choke virtually impossible.
Following the fight, McKinney took responsibility for the situation and seemed to accept the loss. However, upon rewatching the fight, he would post to Twitter firing shots at referee Keith Peterson for not taking a point when Sadykhov grabbed the fence to defend against a takedown from “T-Wrecks.”
“Ok I lost but how many times do you get to put your fingers in the cage for leverage? The ref ain’t suppose to just swat your hand away they’re suppose to warn you and then stand you up if you do it again. He did it the first round too,” wrote McKinney. “The same ref that didn’t give me my mouthpiece back during the Dober fight too, what happened to no non sense!?”

There is certainly a fair point to be had regarding the inconsistency in which rules are enforced in the UFC, and the reason for Terrance McKinney being upset is absolutely understandable. It will be interesting to see where the 28-year old goes from here.
